Dress in Resort Chic Attire. We're celebrating the Summer Solstice! Feel free to wear bright colors. No jeans please. Bring a sweater for evening fun!



CEREMONY & RECEPTION

We kindly ask that you dress in formal attire for this occasion. Suit and tie for the gentlemen. Floor-length gown or elegant cocktail dress for the women. The ceremony will take place outdoors on a lawn, followed by the reception. Please select your footwear accordingly.

Dress comfortably for the Send-off.

Weather in Northern Michigan can vary throughout the day and night. It's advisable to bring sunscreen for daytime and sweaters for the cooler nights. Temperature drop in the evening, and the lakeside breeze can be chilly. If you're staying at the Inn at Bay Harbor, water shoes are a must! The beach is rocky. You'll thank us later!

Northern Michigan is a charmingly remote locale without Uber or Lyft services. We suggest either renting a car or arranging private transportation through Sunset Premier. Find more information in the Travel Tab.

Shuttle service will be provided for all hotels listed on our website's travel page to and from Inn at Bay Harbor on our wedding date. Shuttle times will be shared as we approach the wedding date.

NOMAD is a picturesque 10 minute walk from the Inn at Bay Harbor and it’s the route many guests will plan to take. A shuttle service will also be available and will drop guests off at NOMAD before heading to the hotels listed on our travel page for those too tuckered out to continue the evening festivities.
